What We Do

Biblical Counseling of the East Valley (BCEV) is a Certified Training Center for the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC).

We provide certification courses, advanced training, and conferences to prepare church leaders and members to accurately and effectively apply God’s Word through counseling in the context of the local church.

We also provide counseling matching services to anyone wanting to receive Biblical counseling from one of our certified counselors.

We assist and encourage local church leaders in meeting the needs of those seeking help from within their church by providing biblical training, resources and/or becoming an ACBC Certified Counselor. (We are a certified training center through the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors.)

Distinctives

Sufficiency of Scripture:  To promote confidence in the sufficiency of God’s Word as the sole source for authoritative and accurate counsel to Christians regarding life issues and non-physical problems. (Ps 19:7-14, 2 Tim 3:16-17)

Progressive Sanctification:  To provide practical application of biblical truths to benefit church members in their personal growth in sanctification. (Phil 2:13)

Affordable training and church-based counseling: To provide quality, biblically based training to church leaders and church members.
