Have you heard? We are starting our biblical counseling training on March 18th with the Phase 1 — Fundamentals course. We’ve expanded this course and improved our registration process. You can register for the course here and find out more details below.

Registration. Because we are convinced that the local church is the only God-ordained institution for overseeing counseling ministry and that pastors are responsible for equipping the flock to counsel biblically, we are working to better involve pastors in our process. Each registrant will need a pastoral reference before submitting payment for the course. Registration closes March 4th and all paperwork must be submitted by then.

Description. This training includes 40 hours of in-class instruction, covering the basics of biblical counseling,  key elements of psychology, the differences between biblical counseling and psychology, medical issues, how people change, conflict and reconciliation, trials and suffering, anger, depression, anxiety, marriage issues, communication, and issues in parenting. Each student will receive a hard copy and digital version of our Phase 1 — Fundamentals curriculum, five books to begin building a counseling library, and a journal article from the Journal of Biblical Counseling. All returning students are welcome to join future classes for free.
